Psycholegal Assessments, Inc. is committed to providing transparent forensic psychological evaluation fees. Our services are designed to meet the needs of legal professionals, courts, and agencies. We service Illinois, Georgia, Florida, Arizona, and beyond.
Fee Structure
Forensic psychological evaluation fees are determined based on the complexity and requirements of each case. Factors influencing the cost include:
- Type of Evaluation: Competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, Sexually Violent Peron risk assessments, etc.
- Time Investment: Hours dedicated to interviews, psychological testing, record reviews, and report preparation.
- Additional Services: Court appearances, expert testimony, and travel, if applicable.

In addition to the Fee Schedule listed below Psycholegal Assessments, Inc. accepts other fee agreements that are standard or customary for a particular agency or court. Such evaluations are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

For psychological evaluations and reports, the fee is payable in two parts.
- 50% of total estimated fees is due at the time of the initial appointment,
- The remaining balance is due on the completion and delivery of the evaluation report.
Cancellation Policy

Since alternative bookings are unlikely at such short notice, cancellation of an appointment must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Our policy is to charge one hour ($300) for appointment no shows or cancellations less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
Forensic Psychological Evaluations and Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) are typically complicated and labor intensive. The entire evaluation process will take, at a minimum, 12 to 15 hours, including record review, interviews, psychological testing and report writing. Many evaluations require a much greater expenditure of time. More complex evaluations can take 40 hours or more to complete.
